Drew receives "Honorable Mention" from the Billboard World Song Contest! Twice!
Drew received two "Honorable Mention" awards from the Billboard World Song Contest, one for his song "See Me Go" and another for his song "Mother China." Both songs ranked (internationally) in the top 500.
The award reads:

In recognition of having your original composition

among the top 500 of the 17th annual Billboard World Song Contest.
Only the highest quality songs make it to the top.
This honor demonstrates the talent and dedication it takes to write a "Hit Song."

10/17/10 - Drew performs as main entertainment for "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes"
Aiming to raise awareness of violence against women, the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" event was put on by the Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie.
Drew was happy to serve as the main entertainment for the event. The event was also covered by A-Channel news and MC'd by 107.5 KoolFM's Deb James.

9/19/10 - Drew plays at the Barrie New Music Festival and Terry Fox Run
Wrapping up a busy summer, Drew performed at both Barrie's New Music Festival and the Terry Fox Run this week.
Being a part of the Barrie New Music Festival for the 3rd straight year, Drew performed at Oscar's restaurant in downtown Barrie.
Also playing for the 3rd straight year at Barrie's Terry Fox Run, Drew was proud to be the main entertainment and to support an important community event. 9/7/10 - Drew's music spinning on Italy's "Radio Voce Spazio" 93.8!
Italy's radio station "Radio Voce Spazio" 93.8 started spinning Drew's music this month, as a part of their "Highway 61" program. Massimo Ferro of 93.8 says, "'On My Way Home' is really an excellent album." Thanks 93.8!

Drew Parker’s new “Christine” music video and single will be distributed to hundreds of online and mobile retailers around the world, including iTunes, YouTube, CinemaNow, Sprint, Bell, Verizon, Nokia, and Amazon. The single was performed on A Channel and heard on Barrie’s Rock 95 and was the winner of “Best Folk” at the Barrie New Music Festival.
Drew recently shared the stage with 2010 Olympic Closing Ceremonies performer Suzie Mcneil and US #1 Billboard topping rock group Marcy Playground at Toronto’s 24 hr Spin cancer fundraising event. And Drew is now going to be the subject of a TV documentary to be filmed at the event. Don’t miss it!
